Jordan vs. Kobe Jordan was like Kobe’s big brother. Jordan averaged more points, assists, blocks, steals, fewer turnovers, higher field goal percentage, and had a better true shooting percentage. Kobe was slightly higher in free throws and 3 points shots. Jordan has more championships, MVPs, Finals MVPs, but one less all-star MVP. Jordan has more records and has led the 52 years 1971 2023 Eagles thank you for the memories signatures shirt in addition I really love this league in steals 3 times. Kobe never did. Jordan won DPOY. Kobe never did, but does have 12 defensive selections, more than Jordan’s 9. He is tied with him in first teams. Jordan beats Kobe in every conceivable category so this one’s a rout. It is clear why Jordan remains the guy to beat. His legacy is more than fluff. He’s the real deal. He is still the standard bearer of excellence in the NBA. I am going to answer this question and absolutely destroy the answer at the top of the page. Because some of the anti-Jordan stuff is the worst logic or half/non arguments I’ve ever seen.
First, why is this question asked and debated, particularly on national television? Because wealthy people always make the 52 years 1971 2023 Eagles thank you for the memories signatures shirt in addition I really love this most money when fans think that right now is the greatest time to exist and the players are the best who ever played. the Jordan era saw the people who own nike, tv networks, advertisers etc make unprecedented dollars… so, by that rationale, if you can get player X to equal Michael Jordan, you will generate Michael Jordan dollars. If you own ABC, this would mean ad revenue that would make today’s ad revenue look like a joke. How can I illustrate this. They’ll make an argument with full vigor while someone is playing.. Mark Jackson will appear as if he was called by god to say that Kobe is better than MJ, when really he was told “you are one hundred percent going to say that today if you want to still work here.” Then, when Kobe retires, nobody still says that. Remember ten years ago when they argued vigorously that Kobe was better than MJ? Reggie Miller argued it.. who still says that? NO ONE! And that’s the point. These are arguments for these guys time, and then, when there is no more money to be made off of Dirk Nowitzki, you suddenly stop with the stupid argument that he was a taller evolutionary Larry Bird (anyone else remember that stupid argument? I do…)
