Here’s a thought experiment. In his first six years in the Fast and Furious 2001 2023 the best memories never fade signatures shirt but in fact I love this NBA, Michael Jordan did almost nothing in the playoffs, team-wise, because his team, even with him playing like God, was not as good as the Celtics or Pistons. MJ only won when he had better teammates and Bird, Magic and Isiah got old. So was MJ not a candidate for the GOAT because he played on lesser teams? What if the Bulls had never added Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant? Is MJ suddenly a lesser player because of circumstances he can’t control? What if LeBron had never hooked up with Dwyane Wade or Kyrie Irving? Is LeBron no longer a GOAT candidate? The same thought experiment applies to Wilt Chamberlain, who won two rings and set records for the most wins in a season twice, when he had great teams around him. But for most of his career the Celtics had a super team that won 11 championships in 13 years and beat everyone. If we don’t blame MJ and LeBron for failing to win when they had lesser teams, why would be treat Wilt Chamberlain any differently?
All the Fast and Furious 2001 2023 the best memories never fade signatures shirt but in fact I love this stuff about MJ-this and MJ-that really doesn’t add up. When other teams were better he lost, and when his team was better, he won. Duh! No one calls MJ a “failure” for losing with lesser teams, but for some reason everyone wants to blame Goliath for having the same problem. If we are comparing two players to each other, then let’s keep it simple. Head to head battle-LeBron wants to win, MJ HAS to win….that says all you need to hear about one person determination/will to dominate another player. People will say well, Bron is bigger and stronger than MJ so he would have a chance. Bullshit. MJ was stronger in his prime than Bron in his. MJ routinely blocked opposing power forwards and centers….and Bron? He routinely blocks shooting guards and point guards-big difference. LeBron is big, but MJ played bigger. Besides, LeBron vs MJ? Really? Mj was 9-time all defensive 1st and twice won defensive player of the year while leading the league in scoring too. Bron has not led the league in scoring or been DPOY. And with MJs’ steals totals, this tells you MJ would completely destroy LeBron head to head-which is prolly why people have been gravitating more towards Bron being a better “team” player lol. People cant use stats to make anybody better than MJ-all the critics can do is try to pull MJs’ image down a bit to prop others up. But, history remembers stats-not opinions so in the end, Bron will never measure up to Air.
