I noticed that the Kansas Men’s Basketball Gradey Dick 16 points shirt and I love this height was made low enough to exclude Isaiah Thomas, Nate Robinson and Calvin Murphy (among others) but not Spud Webb and Earl Boykins. While I would claim that Muggsy was better than both Webb and Boykins, I would also claim that 5’ 9” is short for an American man in general and tiny in the NBA. Isaiah Thomas is easily the best short (5’ 9” or less) player ever. He is the only one to be All NBA, one of 2 to make the AllStar team (Calvin Murphy did it once and is in the Hall of Fame but I had never heard of him before today) and did it multiple times. But I loved Muggsy Bogues. He was my favorite player during the Jordan years after Magic retired. He had heart and played amazingly good defense considering the players he played against were literally head and shoulders taller than him. I’m 6’0” and I have difficulty stopping my 6’ 4” friends from shooting over me, how he did it with the opposing player having >7 inches on him is amazing This is tantalizingly close to being an absolutely fascinating question, a question that I wouldn’t have thought to ask without this prompting. I’ll answer that question, but first the answer to yours. The above 6′7″ and above team would absolutely destroy the below 6′7″ team. It would be a waffle-stomping. Here’s probably the 6′7″ and over team that I would want to roll out:

Jimmy Butler is officially listed as 6′8″ – not sure about that, but I’ve never stood next to him. Diito Klay Thompson listed at 6′7″. So I decided to go all-offense on this one. Everyone can get to the rim, except Tucker, who stays in the right corner.
