Exercise- helped me in two ways: burning calories (which is honestly pretty negligible if you look at how much work you have to do in order to burn calories) and motivation. The motivation factor has a far greater benefit. You will see almost instant results. Even though those results are misleading, they always motivated me to stick to my diet. When you exercise, you’ll also feel guilty binge eating because you know that you have done a lot of work for nothing when you consume an entire pizza. The first couple of weeks are the Never underestimate a woman who understands baseball and Colorado Rockies 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this hardest to stick to a fasting diet. Most people (including me) say that if you can stick it out a few weeks, your stomach will shrink, and the sensation of feeling full when eating can be achieved with less food.

External motivators and goals- I pick something that I want to complete in a certain amount of time. For me I chose to attempt the Never underestimate a woman who understands baseball and Colorado Rockies 2023 shirt in contrast I will get this Special Forces Assessment and Selection. I quit my desk job, and started working in a warehouse moving heavy things. I worked out 2–5 times in a day. I got in the best shape of my life. The goal turned out to not be that important to me, although I did conduct the tryout (Long story short- I passed but didn’t continue the program). Your weight is important but your health is the most important thing. Don’t chase some number, chase an ability instead. EDIT: Pls ignore this advice, especially if you are under 18. I actually had a pretty bad eating disorder at the time of writing this that I still deal with gah :/ I’m 19 now and have tried really hard to get into the food=brain power type mentality. It’s fuel after all, we need it to function! Diets and beauty standards are overrated, just try to be happy (though I still need to implement that thought process lol, easier said then done and all). Keeping the comment up for me to look back on how far I’ve come and if people are curious. Please stay healthy people, no matter how that looks for you 🙂 I’m also 14 and I would suggest that you take it slow. Personally, I find that when you do a severe diet it’s easy to give it up. What I do is I use a app that counts calories (I recommend MyNetDiary, it’s super easy to use) when you see how many calories are in certain foods it really makes you think about whats going in your mouth. For example, you’re told that fruits and veggies are low in calories (and most are->blueberries and strawberries are great) but a medium banana is like 105 calories so when you need a fruit go for some strawberries instead of a banana. Simple things like not adding sauce to stuff (they are really high in calories and often full of sugar too) really add up-in a good way. Also completely give up on all sugary drinks like pop or exercise drinks, they are literally so bad for you. Instead, teas are 0 calories and really good for you (if you get the right stuff-green teas, nettle teas, not most stuff from Davids Tea). Water is good too but I prefer tea because of the flavour, try not to add any sugar (if you have to than go for sweetener, still bad for you but 0 calories) or milk/cream. Although it might be different for you, I think it’s best to not tell other people about diets when you’re this young because often times people jump to worst case scenarios and then says things that kill motivation but this is all up to you of course. Back to the diet app, My Net Diary has sections for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks so try and have one meal for every section except for snacks. Snacks are so bad for you because they really add up and a lot of the times are really sugary and fatty so eliminating those (except for healthy snacks like fruits and veggies) is best. Keeping meals simple is good too, like having a simple cereal (like plain honey nut cherrios or rice crispies instead of frosted flakes) with a bit of milk (almond milk is amazing for you and vegetarian too! fat-free milk is also better then regular milk) for breakfast rather then maple syrup coated pancakes and bacon. Thats around 200 calories vs 1000 calories. Also if you put in your measurements on My Net Diary (height, weight, age, life style, goal weight and goal date) it calculates how many calories you should eat per day, I think you can do that online too but I’m not sure where. Keeping track of your weight or waist size (whatever works for you) by chart is a great motivational tool, a reward system (that doesn’t have to do with food, for example splurging on something you want for sticking to a diet) is good too. Well I think that’s all the tips and tricks I can think of off the top of my head, good luck with your diet and remember to not listen to what other people say about you because what matters is how you feel about yourself, as long as you’re dieting responsibly you should feel free to do what you want to be happy with who you are 🙂
