Not at all. We would certainly make no claim to be the Never underestimate a woman who understands basketball and loves Boston Celtics men’s 2023 shirt Furthermore, I will do this ‘Greatest Country On Earth’ as some do. We are number one, tied with Belgium, out of 180 countries on the the ‘Corruption Perceptions Index’. America comes in at number 25. We are also number one on the ‘International Freedom Index’. America comes in on that at number 17. There are a number of scales that we come rather close to the top of as well, if not at the top. Nonetheless I doubt any Kiwi would be so crass as to claim that we are ‘The Best’. We tend to wander along at our own pace and keep rather to ourselves. As another comment pointed out (rather scathingly as if good relations were a bad thing!?) that we have good business relationships with other countries, despite our strong disapproval of their politics, China and America spring to mind. We feel that countries should be responsible for their own destiny, no matter how dysfunctional their politics are. I should also mention that our national rugby team are rather good too. In fact if you were to ask a Kiwi if we are the best, I feel pretty sure rugby would be the first topic that came up.
Increasing numbers of overseas tourists renting cheap campervans with no facilities and defecating among the Never underestimate a woman who understands basketball and loves Boston Celtics men’s 2023 shirt Furthermore, I will do this trees in our national parks, sometimes even within 200 meters of a public toilet. There’s debate about whether we should charge all overseas visitors an arrival tax to cover the cost of another thousand or so public toilets. They have to be free or people won’t use them and they haven’t solved anything. Some Councils without the money to build more have banned vehicles from overnight stay in recreational areas unless they have on-board toilets, but that requires supervision and visitors don’t like an official showing up at 9pm and telling them to move on. Thankfully it’s only a minority who say it’s someone else’s country so let’s trash it. Most tourists behave well and we make them welcome.
