Exercise is very important to me (I have had the same trainer for 13 years) because it’s an opportunity to take care of myself and get centered and focused. I spend the rest of my day balancing work—designing new collections, creating content, meeting with various people on my team, researching—and running mundane errands required to run a household and keep teenagers afloat. Evenings are a split between activities for the girls (soccer, basketball, voice lessons, social engagements, projects) and my social life, which is probably a little too active for my age. I am admittedly not terribly domestic—you won’t find me cooking very much—so meals are often eaten out or ordered in. I try to cook at least two or three times a week. I feel like I have achieved a good balance between being available and dedicated to my family but maintaining my own life as well.
